Lowell was born on July 8, 1958, in Marion, VA. He dedicated his life to working and assisting others. Known as a local handyman specializing in drywall, he was a familiar figure in the community. Lowell also spent many years helping his brother, Lester, on his farm. He was a kind and generous individual, always willing to lend anything to anyone in need. A devout Christian, he was a faithful member of Middle Fork Baptist Church in Chilhowie. In addition to his brother Lester, Lowell was preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Barbara Hutton.

He is survived by his fiancé Nellie Gillespie; sisters-in-law Deloris Hutton and Sally Wagoner; nieces Tina Osborne & husband Chad, Laura Hutton, Becky Marousek & husband Mark; nephew Ethan Hutton & wife Brittany; Nellie’s two sons Roger Crewey & wife Christine and Curtis Crewey & wife Paula; several great nieces and nephews, along with many, many friends throughout the years, way too many to count.

Rest in peace Lowell prayers for your family

It was great reconnecting with Lowell, after so many years without him in my life. My prayer is that God will ease the family's pain. Lowell will be missed.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Lowell, he was a good man, and I enjoyed having him as a patient. May rest in peace that I know he deserved. My time getting to know him has definitely improved my life.

Rest in Peace

Nellie, family —so sorry to learn of your loss of Mr. Hutton.
