Lowell "Mac" McElroy, 79, a resident for 20 years of Dorrington, California, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and an employee for 23 years of Ameron Pipe in Hayward, California, where he worked in truck maintenance, passed away at Tracy Community Hospital in Tracy, California on Thursday, September 21, 2000. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 3000, 1 p.m., at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 West Highland Avenue, Tracy. Interment will be private. There will be no visitation.
