I am sad to read of Lowell's passing. I met Lowell in late 1966. My group, Controls and Fluid Mechanics, moved to Building E at the Tech Center from Building W in E. Peoria, IL. in Sept. 1966. Had many pleasant conversations with Lowell. I left Building E in March 1973 for a job in Caterpillar's subsidiary, Production Technology, Inc.(Inertia Welders).
