When Lowell taught at Heritage High School I had the privilege of having lunch with him everyday the last couple of years before his retirement. He was always smiling and had a kind word every day. Lowell will be truly missed!

Lowell was a kind, intelligent man who never wanted recognition for any of the good works he did. However, the world will remember how he really did his part in saving lives while volunteering for Michigan Blood as a volunteer driver. He delivered blood to hospitals and picked up blood from the blood drives to take back to the lab to be processed. He helped a lot of people, and his legacy will live on as being a generous, cheerful giver.
