Lowry Claiborne Stanford

Lowry and I were fraternity brothers at BSC, and he was definitely a unique (and much beloved) individual. It would be great if those of us who knew "Code" could convene and relay stories of his exploits ( including how this nickname was derived). It would be a memorable time, and one that his family would enjoy. Farewell, brother! Being in your company was a joy!

My sincere condolences to the entire family. I always enjoyed getting the chance to spend time with Lowry and he will be missed.

Met Lowery many years ago when he was a partner in the Patterson Stanford and Brewer accounting firm. Over the years I learned what a good auditor he was and we became business friends. A great guy, very open and easy to talk to. Last saw him about 2006 and it was like two old friends, chatting for a few minutes. God bless you, Lowery. Rest in peace.
