Not sure why great uncle came to mind but he did. I remember Lloyd being kind, whip-smart, and much loved. My grandparents adored his company, and he was widely regarded in my side of the family as uproariously funny. Jeanne misses him a great deal, of course, and speaks of him often. He will be remembered well.

we attended UCLA and then were classmates at Boalt Hall for three years graduating together in 1956. And for many years afterward we met in San Francisco for our Annual Class lunch. Wonderful memories of good friends and frequently with his lovely wife Jeannie... Good years for good friends...

I want to extend my best wishes to Loyd's family . He was probably the most caring and supportive partner of young lawyers at McCutchen when I worked for the firm in the early 80's . He was an incredible lawyer and a class act.
