To the louis family and friends my condolences on your loss. I considered Robert is one of my best friends as a person and has a veteran. He gave a lot for his country and then to United. I will miss having my aviation conversations with Robert always so knowledgeable about flying and always happy to give me advice as I flew on my simulator. You will be sorely missed Robert

He was a generous man, and legit funny. He saw more of this planet than most of us ever will. He found the most wonderful gifts abroad and brought them back for family and friends...maybe a lil profit too haha. He raised wonderful children and fought to help them find the best in themselves. Mr. Lewis seemed, in my limited time together, to do all these things which such grace and humor. I always remember him being in such a good mood, and there's a lot to say about that.

One of the best people I have ever met. Always lit up every room he walked into with his humor, energy and large heart. He was sooo thoughtful and kind. Sending my love to Anne, Katie, grandchildren, friends and family.
