MY SYMPATH Y TO ALL THE FAMILY.
HE LIVED NEXT DOOR TO MY FRIENDS, BILL AND MARTHA BAKER. WHEN VISITING BAKERS I MET ALEX AND WE TALKED ABOUT THE WOODWORKING TOOL "SHOPSMITH" THAT HE DEMONSTRATED AT CAL EXPO. HE ALSO KEPT THE CLOCKS WORKING WHEN I WAS INVOLVED
AT THE OLD HILL HOUSE MUSEUM.
I VISITED HIM A FEW TIMES AT BROOKDALE AND ATTENDED HIS 100TH BIRTHDAY AT THE GOLF COURSE
HUGH METCALF

We were very saddened to learn of Elmo's passing. He was a gentle giant, an amazing storyteller and a wonderful person. We regret not getting by to see him in the last couple of years but we thought about him often and fondly. Our sincere condolences to the family for your loss.
