Lu Ann Barrow

I just read the Statesman article about Lu Ann following her death. It really took me back. Her husband David designed my parents' home in Northwest Hills, and I babysat their two sons when they little. I remember seeing her paintings in their home then, and loving them. She inspired me to become an artist, which I later did. Later in 2006, my mother and I saw her show at the Austin Museum of Art. The works were just spectacular. She was a lovely woman, and I never got tired of viewing her...

Mrs. Barrow was a gracious lady and shall be missed.
