Read MoreI was so sorry to hear about the death of Lucas. Although I didn't know him personally, I did know his uncle Leo who was a friend of mine long ago. During that time, I learned that the Homeijer family was very caring and giving. I was so sorry that Lucas was taken so and am sure that he would have served his community well.

Scott and I have read so many wonderful things about Lucas and the positive impressions he left in all that he did in his young life. We are so saddened at his passing and please know that we are holding you all close in our hearts as we grieve with you. We love you all.
