I worked with Captain Weaver at the Peabody Hotel. He was a great boss. he always looked out for his workers. Sorry to hear that he has left us. Mike, I will keep you and all his family in my prayers. RIP.

Dear Barbara,
Lucian will be missed greatly. Being one of our favorite cousins and a big cut up from when I was a child, my brother and I both. We always enjoyed being around him. Good to see all of you at dad and aunt Jeannie Pearls 90th birthday in 2011. Our prayers are with you all.

I have known Lucian for over 55 years and my wife and I were honored to have him as our dear brother-in-law for these last 29+ years. He was always kind, always loving, a man of great integrity. We never knew him to speak in anger or speak ill of anyone. He took great care of our sister, Barbara, and lived a life that honored God. Anyone would do well to follow the example of how he lived his life.
We will miss him!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember Mr. Weaver as such a nice man. We lived down the street in Oakhaven. Carol Marberry Grehan

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Matt. 5:9
Capt. Weaver was a good man to work for, very fair & knowledgeable. Retired MPD

In loving memory of a wonderful person and a great friend. You will be missed.
My prayer and thoughts are with the family.

I had not seen Captain Weaver since we bumped into one another in 1998. About 5-6 weeks ago we again ran into one another. We spoke at length about the "Job", ....the "Good-Old-Days", ......and "Family". Captain Weaver was in the best of spirits. His parting words to me that day were "Stay Healthy, Be Safe", and, tell everyone "Hello" for me. My sincere condolences to the entire Weaver family, especially Mike. I will always remember the Captain as a fair and honest man who had true concern...
