windswept pines blow in the distance... hunters moon cascades down…she embraces me with a cool breeze…fully under her gaze…she runs her cold fingers through my hair…she whispers…silently lying, jet black eyes open, dark… deep… simply existing… in presence…in being….. I am home now…..

I will miss the private conversations we had and I'm saddened that I won't be able to teach you to sail.

Mr. Mitchell was a very caring and giving person he was very thoughtful
He will be missed God Bless Him and his wonderful Family
Love Mary

may I express my deepest sympaty at the loss of your father? While I knew him well and shall miss him, I realize that my own loss is as nothing compared to your. yet there may be some comfort to you to know that others, too, shall not soon forget him.. he was/is a great man and my friend. I miss him.. Joshua F. Edwards, Ph. D. and family.

To Mycheal, Davey and Nicole,

Your dad referred to me as his "Favorite Cheerleader"!! I am sooo glad I opted to go to Frankfort the week before Homecoming in '08 to see your father honored. I will cherish the time I spent with him there and also at the basketball game when I got to see you. Your father was a wonderful person who I had the pleasure of knowing. God is good and I thank Him for allowing Coach Mithell to cross my path. Cheering for Kentucky State, 1967-1971, was so...

My prayers are with you at this time of loss. God bless.

Willie E. Peale, Jr., formerly of Jackson, Miss. where Coach student taught at the JSU (then JSC) lab school.
