Not sure what to say?

A beautiful lady, kind hearted. Will be missed by all who looked after her at the M.P.S

A true pioneering lady of the land, and a very gentle lady to those around her. Enjoyed our talks about her dairy cows as a child at Highcroft. Rodney Batchelor Lameroo S.A.

Goodbye Mrs Hawtree.

Lucie was so very proud of her family, her friends and her place in the community. Alongside her treasured husband Ossie she worked hard for her family, she maintained a strength and dignity that only those persons born to what seems to us - so little - such hardship - are able to understand. There are very few of these character building ladies, like Lucie, left, for us to follow - we must and should take an example of the life she has had and what she has given to her family and friends....
