Not sure what to say?

When we think about Lou it is always in the context of EvaLou. What a couple! Eva and Lou invited us to Budapest about 10 years ago, and for one wonderful week hosted us and they played tour guides "Par Excellence". We stayed in a beautiful extra apt. that they owned, we were picked up every morning to be driven by Chauffeur Lou on that days touristic rounds with Eva doing the commentary about the city where she was born. And we went to all of the most interesting restaurants. There were...

Dear Mrs. Gordon, I was so saddened to learn of Dr. Gordon's passing. He trained me as his dental assistant in 1977. He was a kind and generous man. I recall he would only accept calls from you and his stockbroker during working hours. He loved his New Yorker magazine and had a hoot sense of humor. Sincere condolences. Tracy Mathis

I am so very saddened to learn of lou’s passing ! I knew lou in coconut grove in 1967 ! We stayed in touch over the years after we both married.

Tonight going thru and cleaning out files I found the very generous amn express gift card lou gave to adrian and me when we married in 1974. We kept meaning to use it but saved it hoping to enjoy dinner with Eva and lou.

We did get to Miami years ago but things did not work out for us to get together.

I have...

Dear Eva,
May I extend my deepest condolences to you. I am sadden to know Dr. Gordon has passed. I learned so much when I worked eight enjoyable years in his dental office. I appreciated his knowledge as a teacher and motivator in the field of dentistry. Dr. Gordon's memory is a blessing for all who knew him. .

Lou was a dear friend who will be sorely missed in the years to come......especially his dead-pan humor which always snuck up on us and made us laugh. We'll never forget the time we were all together in Evas' beloved Budapest. Eva and Lou were the best hosts and tour guides, and that week was filled to the brim with their enthusiasm, knowledge and sense of history.

Dear Eva,
I can imagine how much you miss Lou with every breath. Know that we have grieved alongside you. I shall always remember Lou's intelligent commentary, his wry humor and his love for you in addition to the memorable times we spent together in conversation, dancing at balls and reveling in the magic of opera.
May his memory be a blessing to all of us who knew and loved him. Much love,
Hilda
