Lucien Tennent Lee III

Our legal community has lost a lot.............Tennent would have made an outstanding judge. He assisted many a young lawyer with whom he worked over the years. A superior intellect and good person. RIP

Tennent and I served on an insurer's Board of Directors and numerous Board committees for over thirty years. We, along with the rest of the Board, addressed a wide range of stubborn and complex issues. I quickly became impressed with Tennent's high integrity, intelligence, pleasant demeanor and overall likeability. We started out as colleagues, but quickly became friends with many shared interests; e.g. family, history; politics and the like. I would mention a topic on war and Tennent...

Tennent was a lawyer´s lawyer. Fifty years ago I was co-counsel with him in my first jury trial as a first-year lawyer. I never forgot how kind and helpful he was to me. I will miss him.
