Not sure what to say?

Lucila and I were childhood playmates when her family moved from Sao Paulo to Pittsburgh about 60 years ago. I helped her with English but attempts to teach me Portuguese did not stick! Her mom and my mom became best friends and still are. We drifted apart in high school as Lucila was focused on the scholars program. She was brilliant, as well as gorgeous, talented, generous and inspirational. Her well-lived life was too short. Rest in Peace Lucila.

My sweet neighbor. She always carried herself with style and had such an open and graceful manner. I will miss her smile, good nature and friendly greetings over the years. What a wonderful, accomplished lady. My prayers for her family and friends.

I met Lucy around 2004 when she was an environmental consultant at CK Associates. She called on me at my company for environmental consulting so projects. I got to know the person she was when my six year old son was diagnosed with leukemia in 2005. She and her husband along with our friends came together to help us make our home ready for my son to return home from St Jude. She later visited my wife and son in Memphis at St Jude while he was in patient. She cared for others in need...

I will always remember Lucy´s smile, every time I saw her she had one. A beautiful lady that carried herself with grace. Her obituary speaks volumes of the great life she led. Rest in peace Lucy. My condolences to the family.

I consider myself fortunate to have worked with Lucy for a few years. What a wonderful and extraordinarily intelligent person.

Luci knew how to live, how to fight for her life and how to graciously leave earth. No doubt it was my great honor to be married with her for 15 years. Wonderful memories help to stay these sad days of knowing she will no longer grace our world, though I know that the heavens have received one of their brightest angels back home that I had the opportunity to share love with. Our world is better because of her. See you later, Lucila.

Such a special soul! What a pleasure it was working with her for too short of a time. Eternal rest grant unto her and let perpetual light shine upon her.

Lucy and I worked together during her time at Honeywell. She was very sweet and wonderful to be around. May you find solace in you time of grief.

I didn´t know Lucila, though I wish that I had. May her spirit continue to soar!
