Mrs. Lucille Stith Blackwell, 85, of Roanoke, Va., passed away Friday, July 17, 2009. She was born March 15, 1925, to the late Frank and Blanche Stith. I will truly miss seeing Aunt Lucille at the family cookouts going forward. I was so blessed to be able to have one more visit with her last summer on the 4th of July at the family cookout in Kenbridge, VA. I will truly miss Aunt Lucille's stories and jokes. She always kept me laughing. I thank God for allowing us to have her for so many years and we are left with so many wonderful memories.

Dear Family of Lucille Blackwell,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will never forget Mother Lucille Blackwell. Mother Blackwell was a tremendous blessing to our family and church family. She was a great "Woman of God." She loved Jesus and she let everyone know that she loved Him. She was not ashamed to let her light shine.
