The world lost a beautiful soul in the passing of my Aunt Lucy. I was fortunate to celebrate her life with my family yesterday as we discover our new place as the "elder generation". As a young woman she became an Army nurse in World War II where she traveled to New Guinea and the Philippines, tending to wounded soldiers. She was a courageous adventurer who traveled the world and lived around the U.S. as a single woman and nurse. She taught me to appreciate art, dress with flair, try exotic...
