Lucille Joan "Luki" Davis

I was deeply saddened to learn of Luki's death. She was the wife of my husband's ship's captain when their ship was stationed in Japan. I was a newlywed at the time, and besides missing my husband, whose ship was often deployed far away, was little acquainted with the US Navy's policies and practices. Luki organized get-togethers with other "Navy wives." She was extremely helpful and funny and made those years much more bearable than they would have been otherwise. I did correspond with her...
