Frances and Dolores, You did a beautiful job in planning the service for your mother and dear friend (second mom). Marvin's remarks were excellent and reminded all of us how truly blessed we have been to know Lucille. The hymns were consoling although I can't sing a word after the first verse because of tears. She was a most gracious lady and the memorial had the right amount of "pomp and circumstance" and folksiness to be a genuine tribute to her. Take care of yourselves and don't be too...

Frances--the service was beautiful, and Marvin was just the man for the job. We all have so many wonderful and funny memories of all the years we've known Lucille--Marilyn's $20 trip to the beauty salon in the Marriott, the many, many rain delays at the Braves ball game in Atlanta, the chicken bog, and on and on--I know this'll be a hard one for you, but she was a special, special person to all of us.
