Lucille played bridge at my mothers (Eloise I. Garrett) home in Jacksonville. I had the pleasure of seeing her there and listening to her amazing story's. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy to all the Findley family. Always hold her in your heart.

I had the pleasure to meet Lucille for the first time over a family dinner celebrating the 89th anniversary of Paul Findley...it was my first time in Jacksonville IL. first hour with the entire family and I felt as if I knew her for a very long time...I saw her again in Dubai last Christmas and 'here she is' I whispered 'my mother'...
last June (2011) I was there again at her place in Jacksonville with my 17 year old son Khaled and she was lovelier than ever...we both loved her for her...

I am very sorry to hear about this loss. She was truly a wonderful woman. Within the first hour of knowing Lucille I immediately fell in love with her. She reminded me of myself, she was spunky yet inspirational with enough love to wrap around the world ten times over. Her and her family will always remain in my heart. Deepest sympathies to all who knew her.
