Lucille Grillo

Lucille Grillo, 85, of 10 Mulligan Dr. died Friday April 13, 2007 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.

She was born April 3, 1922 in New York City, NY the daughter of John and Maria (Capuano) Silvestri attended schools in New York City and had lived in New Jersey prior to moving to Dover 16 years ago.

During W.W. II she was a tester for the defense industry.

Mrs. Grillo enjoyed crafts. She was also very proficient in knitting and crocheting.

She was a communicant of St. Mary Church.

Members of her family include her husband of 58 years, Joseph Grillo of Dover; her sister-in-law, Mary Silvestri of Fairfield, CT; a niece, a nephew; and close friends, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Dombrowski of Barrington and Mrs. Carole Herring of Barrington.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Felice Grillo Massoni.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church (corner of Chestnut and Third Sts.). Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Charles Cemetery.
