Our deepest sympathy to Lucy's family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. The pain you are feeling today will soon pass as your lean on your precious memories. Rejoice in knowing that she is now in no pain and she is happy in the presence of her Lord.

My Aunt Lucy, I want to say that she was my favorite but that might take away from my other Aunts. Let me just say that she had a very special place in my life. When dad died I was only 17 and my brother and sister had their wife and husband to help them through that terrible time. My mother was so heart broken that she had to be in a wheel chair during the services. In those days the body was opened again until after the family left the church and they had to view their loved one again....

Mrs. Lucy was a very special person. I took care of her on several occasions and my spirits were lifted just from talking to her and spending time with her. She will definitely be remembered at Southeast Alabama Medical Center because she touched many lives during her stay here. May God bless you and your family and know that she is smiling down on you because she fought a good fight.

I am so sorry for the loss of Mrs. Lucy she was a beautifully spirited woman and you all are very lucky to have had the past years with a woman as special as her. At South East we all witnessed the amount of love in your family and it was very heart warming. I cant tell you the amount of employees that have stopped to see ya'll and realized ya'll were no longer there. Everyone on our staff has been deeply touched by your family. Im sorry I wasn't there for ya'll when she passed, as most of us...
