Easley

Lucille Crum Lesley, 82, of Zion Church Road, wife of the late Wallace Dean Lesley, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at her home.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late James Edgar Crum and Georgia Ellen Ross Crum.

Mrs. Lesley was a 1952 graduate of Easley High School. She was retired from Pickens County School District after 23 years of dedicated service and was a member of Easley Church of God. She loved serving her Lord and Savior through many capacities of her church. She also loved caring for and cooking for her family, friends and complete strangers. She was especially devoted to and adored her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters, Wanda Lesley Hicks (Larry) of Anderson, Robin Lesley Buckley (Seth) of Moore, SC and Deana Lesley Nations of the home; grandchildren, Jessi Gilliam (Randy), Dusty Hicks, Rocky Hicks (Jessica), Jacob Buckley (Sloane), Caleb Buckley, Eli Buckley, Micah Buckley and Chaps Nations. great grandchildren, Aron and Savannah Gilliam, Taya, Jaylan and Elijah Hicks; a brother, Ross Crum of Six Mile; and a special caregiver, Judy Henderson.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Sheryl Lesley; sisters, Grace Lackey, Elizabeth Greer and Evelyn Bagwell; and brothers, Leonard Crum and Richard Crum.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice, 15 Brendan Way, Suite 100, Greenville, SC 29615.

The family will be at the home.

Wanda and family, I am so sorry for the loss your precious mother and grandmother! She was a true one of a kind! She, along with your Dad, did so many good things for so many people!
