LINDER, Lucille C. (Hendley) "Lucy" - Of Flint, formerly of Mayfield, Kentucky, age 88, crossed over into the light on Monday, April 21, 2008 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 2PM Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Joy Fletcher officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation 4-8PM Wednesday, 12-3 and 5-8PM Thursday and 10AM Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Lucy was born in Farmington, Kentucky on December 18, 1919, the daughter of Hubbard and Martie Hendley, and was a resident of Flint most of her life. She was an avid Bingo player. She was a minister in the Full Gospel Church since 1971. Mrs. Linder is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Bill) Moore of Flint, MI; one son, David (Joann) Linder of Durand, MI; sister, Nell (Paul) Fry of Taylor, MI; 6 grandchildren, JR (Gina) Harrison of New York, Robin (Rob) Leach of Wisconsin, Rachel (Joe) Boughner of Clio, April (Tim) Cummins of Flint, Dave (Wendy) Linder of Flint and Vicky Linder of Michigan; 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grand-children. She is survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and special friends, including Nancy Amrich. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Verbal Roy Linder; second husband, Willie Bellamy; third husband, William H. Linder, Sr.; 6 brothers, George, Tom, Sam, Bobby, John and Charley Hendley; sister, Leone Hargrove; parents, Hubbard and Martie Hendley.
