Not sure what to say?

"Aunt Lucy was an important part of our family. She would always have some wisdom to share. I will miss her greatly. Tom and Cindy you were blessed to have such a wonderful mother. I am so sorry for your loss actually the whole Beeghly families loss. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. Sarah Hogan Shoemaker.

Lucille was a quiet and generous donor to many local organizations, making a difference in the lives of many people in need. Housing Resources, Inc. was fortunate to benefit from Lucille's concern for the homeless and were happy to call her friend. We offer our sincere condolences to her family.

So many of us adored her. Wow...what a legacy.

I shall miss dear Lucile so much & remember all of our great times with her at the Beeghly Family Reunions. My late husband, Jack Fancher, & I always looked forward to spending time with her. Now she is in Heaven with many of our loved ones. Rejoice in the memories!
Much love & God's blessings to all,
Susan (Lindsay) Fancher

Lucy was member of a Healing Racism group I led several years back, here in Kalamazoo. I will always remember her smile, genuine curiosity and her "wonderful spirit." She was a unique soul, and will be missed by all.

We had the most marvelous Aunt in the world in your mother. May God bless her in His Glory. I'll always remember Thornton locking her in the Playhouse as a child and they're playing Minister and Choir together. The highlight was when Gil and Lucy brought you two to Ohio for summer visits. Your mother taught us many lessons through her long, beautiful, productive, wondrous, glorious life. She was a great role model for all of us, a great lover of nature, and...

Our mother and Lucy were friends for over 70 years. The two couples met at Harper Hospital in Detroit in 1940. As a child I remember loving the times that we celebrated New Year's Day at the Patricks' and ice skating on the lake. Lucy was a wonderful soul and I was blessed to have known her. She had a wonderful spirit!
