Great-Grandma Sanders always had a smile on her face. I honestly can't remember a time I didn't see her smile. She was the sweetest person ever, always making you feel welcome and loved no matter what. My favorite memory of her is one visit we had to the states; she went out of her way and bought two dozen candy bars thinking that we didn't have American candy overseas. Little things like that she did. I'll miss you Grams, thanks for always having that smile that lit up a room.

I love the photo of Grandma in the yellow hat. She came to Cincinnati when I was living there and Craig and I took her to Kentucky Derby and I snapped that photo. We had so much fun that day! Lots of nice memories of cookouts at Grandma's house, too. She will be greatly missed.

I never saw Auntie 'Cil any way but pleasant and happy. she always had a smile on her face, and was easy to laugh. We seemed to be at their house quite a bit as a child, and remember all the fun we had playing at their house and the birthdays they had for their dog Champ. What wonderful memories! Auntie 'Cil was very loving and sweet, and she looked as though she never aged. I imagine from having such a loving countenance! What an angel...I will miss her!

Lucille was the nicest lady. Always had a smile for everyone. I always looked at Lucille and thought she looked like my grandmother, Frances Carson, Lucille"s aunt. I will miss her and through the years she never failed to send a Christmas card. My sympathy to LuAnn, Skip and family.

My Grandma Sanders...what a wonderful lady. She was always the sweetest and kindest Grandma - to everyone. Some of my earliest memories are of Thanksgivings at her and Grandpa's house. Spending time with her out back, playing and visiting under the back porch. Going in for the first dreadful brassiere fitting at the Denver where she worked as the head "bra lady". In later years seeing her get out and travel and have fun. Having lunch with her at St Elizabeth. In the years that she was able, she would be at every Christmas, birthday, gradulation, wedding - including my own. She welcomed my new hubby into the family with open arms. She also never missed a birthday card. She was always there to support everybody and I'm grateful for that because I learned that wondeful quality from her. She was also a caregiver her entire life - and I inherited that from her, as well. Many many memories that I will never forget. Many wonderful traits that I was blessed with - from my dear Great Grandma. Love you more, Grandma----

My mother, June Egan, and I enjoyed visiting with Lucille about so many things. She talked about her upbringing in Globeville, and attending Holy Rosary and Sacred Heart Schools, as did June. She was so gracious and such an interesting lady. We will miss her at St. Elizabeth's.
