Lucille Timms Steifle

Eva Lucille Timms Steifle, 89, former resident of Roswell Road and Cothran Avenue, died January 1, 2016 at Wesley Commons in Greenwood. Born in the Antreville Community in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Adger Timms and Lillian Blanche Baldwin Timms. She was a wife, homemaker, and mother of three sons. Her husband William James Steifle preceded her in death. She was a long time member of Horeb Baptist Church in Bradley. Surviving are three sons, James Wayne Steifle and wife Renee Bresler of Brevard, NC, George Gerald Steifle and wife Elizabeth Gould Steifle of Spartanburg; and William Coleman Steifle and wife Ray Beaudrot Steifle of Greenwood; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kyle Hite officiating. Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ben Steifle, Clement Davis, Joel Edwards, Trey Lightsey, Brian Pinson, and Hootie Solesbee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 Monday morning.
