Not sure what to say?

On behalf of the former National Black Women's Health Project we remember Lucinda Bunnen with great gratitude for her early support of our organization that is now DC based and global. Her generosity helped make this happen and as such forged the movement for black women's health advocacy and organizing. We are forever grateful.

Aunt Cindy blazed her own brilliant trail and made this world a better place. She humbly set a high bar, and was one of the most important people in my life. Her unconditional love for her entire family gave you all strength and vice versa. We surround you and your clan with all our love always.

To the Bunnen family, There are not enough words to describe the wonderful, loving, talented, generous and special person Lucinda was to us. She has left us with memories that will be with us forever. Thank you for sharing your mother with us for the past 55 years. Love, Carol and Paul Muldawer

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

It was an honor to know her and support her particular interests. I send love and blessings to all the family. Thank you for sharing her!

This is Barry Garvin, Tony´s son. We used to play together as kids. I was so sad to hear of Lucinda´s death. My condolences to the family. Please call me at 478-738-1247. Hope to hear from y´all soon.

So many beautiful memories of Lucinda. Her entire family shares a special legacy. All of those who were touched by her are enriched for having known her. The photography, arts and many others greatly benefited from her generosity. Hers was a wonderful and long life lived. May she Rest In Peace!

My heart is with you Belinda and family and Judy. She was such a light, a spirited force, I am glad we became close through our art and her family. Her grandchildren were close to my children so we gathered. She was a stunning beauty and said what she thought, my kind of woman. RIP lucinda. You will be greatly missed

I remember Lucinda from as early as 1964 and from as recently as 2017 when we last spoke briefly by phone. I admire her vision and perseverance, her philanthropy and achievements. My autographed copy of "Movers and Shakers in Georgia" (1978) brings a smile still when I page through it. To endure is already an accomplishment.
