Lucy was my first serious girl friend when we were both in university, and though we went our separate ways, we always kept in touch. I was glad to get the chance to ski with her and her family at Ellicottville a few years back, and to see her at her 65th birthday party. We talked just a few months ago, and as usual, she was more worried about my health than hers. She was a special girl, and I will miss her.

I recall all of the neigborhood kids getting together as far back as when Lucy and I were 5,6,7 years old. What I most remember about Lucy was that she was ALWAYS smiling and laughing! Such a happy person! It speaks to what a good person she was and the good family she came from.
In reading Lucy's bio, I learned that she owned an ice cream shoppe. Lucy; smiles, laughter AND ice cream. Perfect symmetry!
My condolences to the extended family for your loss.
