May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Lucy was my first serious girl friend when we were both in university, and though we went our separate ways, we always kept in touch. I was glad to get the chance to ski with her and her family at Ellicottville a few years back, and to see her at her 65th birthday party. We talked just a few months ago, and as usual, she was more worried about my health than hers. She was a special girl, and I will miss her.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our oldest and dearest friends. From vacations to birthday dinners at Johnny's to wonderful July 4th weekend celebrations at the farm, Lucy always made sure we were included and having fun. She was a caring and loving friend. I recall all of the neigborhood kids getting together as far back as when Lucy and I were 5,6,7 years old. What I most remember about Lucy was that she was ALWAYS smiling and laughing! Such a happy person! It speaks to what a good person she was and the good family she came from.

In reading Lucy's bio, I learned that she owned an ice cream shoppe. Lucy; smiles, laughter AND ice cream. Perfect symmetry!

My condolences to the extended family for your loss.
