Lucinda Drossner Obituary

Lucinda Bashinski Drossner, age 75, of Poquoson, Virginia passed away after a courageous battle on Thursday, August 18, 2022. Lucinda was born September 27, 1946.

Lucinda was born in St. Cloud, FL and traveled as a Navy dependent. Attending Florida State University, she met her husband, Barry, who entered the Air Force. During the Vietnam years, she worked as a dental technician while raising her three children. In 1975, she traveled with her family to Japan where she spent the next 12 years. While there, she managed an art gallery and traveled extensively through Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand dealing with artists and experiencing new cultures.

In 1987, she moved to Spain and traveled throughout Europe, once again experiencing different cultures. She returned to Virginia in 1991, where she began her long-term battle with an autoimmune disease. Lucinda was a 50+ year member of PEO and cherished her PEO family and society. Lucinda is survived by her husband, three children and six grandchildren. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, Hampton, VA.
