Miss. Lucinda "Cindy" Gail Helton, 41, of Connelly Springs passed away unexpectedly Thursday November 12, 2015. Cindy was a loving and caring person and will be missed by her friends and family, especially her mom who was by her side. Born June 7, 1974 in Burke County to Archie and Wanda Helton she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Cindy was a 1992 graduate of East Burke High School and also a graduate of Western Piedmont with a degree in Medical Office Assistance. Surviving are her parents Archie and Wanda; a brother Charles Ray Helton of Connelly Springs; niece Victoria Helton; and baby Wednesday; nephews Charlie and James Helton of Connelly Springs; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Also surviving is a very special cousin, Hunter Ray Watson whom she loved very much, like he was her own son. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday November 15, 2015 at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Landon Rice officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday November 14, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Fellowship Baptist Church at 1993 Tomlinson Loop, Connelly Springs, NC 28612. To Wanda , Archie and family So sorry to hear about Cindy. It was a shock. She was a kind and gentle person. Always had a smile. Made some beautiful baby quilts and other things. We love you and if you need anything let us know. We will be praying for you . Love in Christ, VDozey and Brenda Lowman

I am so sorry for your loss. I taught Cindy at Icard. She was a kind and sweet young lady who made teaching more enjoyable.

What a beautiful spirit and love in the most loving heart she was, my heart aches for your loss but the beautiful memories and heartfelt love can never be forgotten. She leaves a wonderful legacy to always be remembered by her friends and family, she will be terribly missed and was so very loved by all who had the privaledge to have known her

We will miss Lucinda's sweet and kind soul. She was a caring, loving young lady with whom we always enjoyed talking. We know that she is truly in the arms of our heavenly father now. My prayers are with her dear parents and family.
