I miss you mom

It is a amazing how friends and family came together to honor Lucinda yesterday! Thank you all who helped make the Memorial Service so meaningful. Her spirit and the spirit of her faith in Jesus Christ shined through her husband, John, her children, Galya and Kolya, and brought us all together as a family united in love. Precious memories recalled, Lucinda's legacy lives on. "I love you Lucinda." "I love you, too. mom." Words I treausre. What a privilege to be her earthly mother!

Lucinda's Memorial Service 12/15/07

Lucinda, John's bride, Nov. 18, 1995

Lucinda was a wonderful woman and she touched so many lives. It was an honor to have her teach me piano when she lived in Petaluma in the mid 80's. She was always patient and kind. I never actually met Lucinda in person, but I have prayed for her often over the last several years. I know she is with Jesus and I'll meet her later when I, too, leave this world.

We were privileged to be part of Lucinda's extended family, celebrating special days with the Serrano/Randles families. On the traditional yearly Christian days of celebration we joined together for a picnic in the UC DAVIS Arboretum or around the large table at the home of Larry and Lori's family. Lucinda came into my life when her dad, Roy Randles, and I got married in 1980. We became wonderful friends and we spent many hours visiting, sharing and laughing. She drove to Hanford often to visit us and later on with John, Galya and Kolya and I cherish all those memories. She was a very special person and was always kind to me and my three daughters and their families. Lucinda will always be in my heart. I love you Lucinda! God's promise is that I will see you again someday!
