Not sure what to say?

Lukie and family. We are so sorry to hear of the passing of “Mr. Jackson” your husband/dad/Grand Father and all around great guy. Your all in our prayers. Remember all the great memories and keep them close during this most difficult time. Michael, Lisa, Mike, & Amanda Poirier

Big Jack put little Pan American College in Edinburg, Texas on the map. After winning the 1963 NAIA National Championship, the Texas Legislature took notice, and “Pan Am” grew into a top tier university. Condolences to his family and friends.

I’m so sorry to the family for your great loss . You have m dearest sympathy. I hope you have many fond memories that will ease your hearts.

Uncle NUNU , I remember when you visited the small town of Tipton, Oklahoma. You were an instant "CELEBRITY" no one had ever seen a giant as the people called you. Your ready smile which is a Jackson trait was always on display and your kindness to everyone will always be remembered. The last time I saw you and introduced you as Luke Jackson you quickly reminded me "thats Not what you call me"" RIP Uncle NUNU

I was Luke's secretary for the City of Beaumont Parks and Recreation Dept. for several years. Luke was a gentle giant and very nice to work with. I have fond memories of our work together. I send my deepest condolences to his precious family. God bless his soul.

Condolences to the family of Lucious "Luke" Jackson,

Your dear one has been described online by the words "talented' "rugged" "great" "a true gentleman" "a great team player" and more. To you, his family, he was those word descriptions and more.
Please keep comforting one another and building one another up.

You gave this eleven-year-old boy back in 1967 a great memory by being part a great team my dad took me to see twice that season. It was wonderful being able to share my memories to others about that Championship team. RIP Big Luke. From a longtime fan.

A great player that added so much to the game. A credit to the 76ers. Prayers for the Jackson family, so very sorry for your loss.

A very nice person. I met Luke at Pan American College. I still have a scar on my chin that I got in a scrimmage while gawking at Luke's jumping ability and got kicked by his knee. I say again a very nice guy. Got Bless you.
