Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry to hear about Lou. He worked with my dad (at FAA) Sam Marotta & was a good friend as well. I sent him a Christmas card & when I did not receive one back from him, I had a feeling something was not right. I saw his obituary just today (12-29-17) & I am so upset. My condolences to the family.

Valerie, Darryl and Gregory I am so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I worked with your father back in 1968 at Newark Airport. We kept in touch with Christmas cards and an occasional phone call. Your father made a great impression on me with the way he told me he was raised and then raised all of you. He was very proud of all of you and I am sure that each and everyone of your are a wonderful human being because of him and your mother.

Valerie, you may not remember this but...

I have just learned of Lucious' passing and wish I could have known in time to attend his funeral. We were close friends in grammar school (Miller Street School) and South Side High. I last saw him recently, in April, at the 138th Anniversary of my church, Mt Zion Baptist in Newark, but had no idea about his illness.
My deepest sympathy is extended to his family. May God comfort you as you remember loved one.

I just learned of the death of Lucious today, July 26. I was looking forward to seeing him at the South Side High School mini reunion at Hobby's in Newark on August 4.
I am truly shocked and saddened.
May God rest his soul.

Mr. 'Lou' Riley was a respected leader, mentor, and member of the Federal Aviation Administration family. Sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time.

So sorry to hear about Luke.I played ball with him in Texas about 1955.He was always happy.Heaven will welcome him.

Sincere condolences goes out to the Riley family for your sad loss. May GOD be a source of comfort and strength as you mourn the loss of Lucious.
