I babysat for Lucius 111 when his Dad was attending Andover Seminary in Newton, Mass. and Lucius was asst. pastoring in Waltham, Mass. I loved him and Mary and have never forgotten them...65+ yrs. ago! I've always wondered where they ended up pastoring/serving the Lord and His people. So happy to read all this information.

You brought light and hope to many. We miss you, Dad!

My brother and I went on a Pastor's for Peace delegation to Nicaragua in 1989. It was a long but inspiring truck ride and we stopped at the most interesting places, like the Highlander Center, where we talked to Miles Horton. The trip was about our own radical education. The following year, Rev. Walker came to Poughkeepsie. In his talk, he said that we were working for a better world for "Ted," my 11 year old son who was in the audience. That's what has motivated me all along. Our kids...

Walker.What a sweet, sweet spirit. I met him when I was working for HIT and we shared the building. Later with always crossed path at a different events and "Luchas" His legacy will never died.
