Aug. 6, 1930 - Apr. 2, 2016 Lucreasia Moseley Keeby, affectionately known as Tang and Chris. A native of Boykin, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL, born on August 6, 1930, departed this life on April 2, 2016. She was a faithful member of Canaan MB Church, Rev. Desmond Smoot, Sr. Lucreasia retired from the MCPSS after 25 years of faithful service. She was also a foster parent for over 30 years for the Alabama DHR She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore R. Keeby, Sr.;children, Samuel J. Keeby and Melvin M. Keeby; mother, Virginia Moseley;father, Eddie S. Ervin; ten siblings, She leaves to cherish of her memories her children: Mary Keeby, Atlanta, GA, Patricia Keeby, Pensacola, Fl, Theodore Keeby, Jr. (Cassandra), Mobile, AL, Sheila Keeby, Smyrna, GA, Oria Keeby (TuWanya), Lithia Springs, Ga; Verndetta Keeby-Sampson (Ledyard), Evelyn Keeby, Kathy Keeby, and Frank Andry all of Mobile, AL; devoted great-granddaughter, Acacia Keeby; siblings, Gennette Pettway, Mobile, AL, Hardy (Lilly) Moseley and King Moseley of Bronx, NY, Eddie Ervin, Charleston, West VA, Jack Ervin, Fort Mill, SC and Willene White, Armstrong Creek, West VA; sister-in-law, Shirley Moseley; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; a host of devoted nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon funeral hour at Canaan MB Church, 863 Summerville Street , Mobile, AL. It was a pleasure to have known Mrs Keeby while she was at the Via Center,It does not seem possible the length of time since she died. I am still volunteering at the Center.
