For several years, I had the rare privilege of sharing office space with Lucy while we both worked for Beaverton Schools. Her enthusiasm for life in general was contagious and her dedication to improving safety in our schools and her community was inspiring. She was an absolute joy to be around. After I left the District, I missed seeing her smiling face each morning. And I still do.
