Not sure what to say?

In May Hanna, my only grandchild, expects her baby girl, and she plans to name her Lucy Annette. Little did she know about us. You are the one who decided for her to call me Grannette. I've enjoyed sharing with her our life story and friendship. I miss you, my chosen sister.

Lucy Braun and her family were a large part of mine and my siblings growing up years. So much time spent sailing and at regattas, and just hanging out. She lives on in our wonderful recollections of a great childhood. Be at peace.

My condolences to the Braun family. Growing up sailing with them are wonderful lifelong memories that still endure. I wish you all peace and love.

Lucy was a long-time friend, college roomie, and chosen "sister". I loved her for her attitude of giving, loving, sharing, encouraging, caring, eagerness to learn. So many wonderful things. She was uniquely her own person, and she taught her boys that same uniqueness. They are a living tribute to her.
