Not sure what to say?

My years in therapy with Lucy transformed my life. I know I was a handful, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made a difference in life, and you will live forever in my heart❤

Has it been three years already, Lucy? I want you and your family and friends to know that I still think of you often and the terrific times we spent as little girls in Woodway Park. Our times at Camp Tamarack and our summer on Orcas Island! We grew up, didn't we? And we stayed friends for all those years. Only you will know what I am saying to you now - DA!

"Thoughts that lie too deep for tears..." Having you within for sixty-eight years
and hollowed out by your going away.
"The reason firm, the temperate will, endurance, foresight, strength and skill; a perfect woman, nobly planned, to warn, to comfort, and command; and yet a Spirit still, and bright with something of angelic light."

In 2002 Lucy did a quite remarkable thing. She found a big, black dog tied up to a tree, and all twisted up in the bushes, while going over Stevens Pass, She thought the owner must be fishing in the stream nearby, and untwisted the dog. Then, and here comes the remarkable part, she came back the next day to double check on that same dog. The second time, she found a bag of open dog food and a note that said, "Please take my dog. I have to go overseas. His name is Beau." Lucy...

I shared office space with Lucy for many years. She was devoted to the health and healing of her clients, and adored her family. She was funny and smart. I often ran into people who had grown up with her and had had all kinds of fun with her "back in the day." She was a woman of many talents. Lucy taught me to create gorgeous planter boxes on our tiny balcony. Her enthusiasm for life, work, art and especially children and grandchildren (and dogs) was contagious. Thank you, Lucy!

Laura, Chris and Sarah,

OK, it's me again. Just wanted to send you the text comments from our kids. They sum up how meaningful Lucy was in our lives.

Mary:
"So sorry to hear that Lucy passed away. My thoughts and prayers go out to Laura, Chris and Sarah. She was so much fun and you two always had a great time when you were together. I can't imagine their loss."

Michale:
"She was always so fun and upbeat. Sad to hear that she passed away. I remember all the...

Laura, Chris and Sara,
So very sad to learn of Lucy's death. She was my inspiration all through grad school and for years after. I probably would have never made it through without Lucy and Bob, They both made me laugh often and hang in there for " just one more quarter". Life was really full back then with 7 children between us, a few dogs and so many papers. Trips to Orcas and the beach will always be remembered. Even though we have not seen much of one another over...

On behalf of Dennis Brannan's daughters Jenifer and Alison, we would like to extend our sincere condolences to Lucy's family. She was a special person to our dad, and I know she was always a loyal friend to him. He would have been very sad to hear this news--hopefully they'll be able to say hello to each other in Heaven. So very sorry to hear this news.
