Not sure what to say?

I attended Porthudson Elementary School and Mr. Chambliss was my principal and close friends of my father Tom Monroe. I met Mrs. Chambliss through her husband. She would play the piano and coordinate musical selections for school events.

She was a lovely person and will be greatly missed. Cherish the memories of a long life well lived!

Give yourself time to grieve and then
move on. Remember all of the special
things you did together. But most of
all, remember that she loved her family
very much.

I will always remember Mrs. Lucy. She will always remain in my heart. Her famous quote to me.."if you can speak, then you can sing" . She always made me smile!! God bless you Mrs. Lucy, God Bless!! And I know that you are forever playing your piano in heaven!

May you find peace and comfort in God's love and with the passing of time.

Juan and Jeanie (Jordan) Jones
