Not sure what to say?

Kim and Gianna, praying that God will give you an extra measure of strength as you go through this difficult time. Lucy was a kind and thoughtful woman and I'm glad I got to spend time with her and your family, throughout the years. May she rest in peace.

Kim and family, I remember when we first moved to Hansen Road in 1983 your parents invited us for many picnics at their house. I would go with them on weekends to set up their antiques for sale at the New London Mall when I was in high school. Your dad "covered" for my dad for all those years when they worked for the city parks/cemeteries. Your mom always had a kind heart as a nurse and a person and a sharp mind...she would always remember a face and had a story to tell about old Norwich...

Mrs. Cilley was the nurse when I attended Fields Memorial and I remember her actually going to our home when my brother, Joe was sick. She was a wonderful lady. Many years later when I returned to Connecticut I ran into her and said hello. She recognized me after all of those years and called me, "Little Debbi Mish". I laughed and always said hello to her whenever I saw her. My prayers are being said for all of you. Cherish the memories and know that she made a difference in many lives...

Kimmi and Gianna... love you both! Lucy had such a kind soul and a gentle manner. I will always remember her!

Dear Kim,
I remember when you "arrived" and how much love and pride both of your parents had for you. I remember so many gatherings at my relatives house on Hansen Rd. I also remember your Mom being a nurse in the school system. Hold on to the memories and share them with future generations. Love you and am praying for you and your family.

Dear Kim,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your mom was a kind, sweet, gracious lady and my family was very lucky to know her. With our deepest sympathy, The Griffin family

So sorry to hear of Lucy's passing. I remember many happy get-togethers my family had with hers, and it was my parents that introduced Lucy to Red, leading to a happy, long marriage for them. Lucy was such a wonderful cook as well, and I remember many great meals and cookouts on Hansen Road. I was so glad she could make it to my aunt's surprise birthday party this summer. Lucy will be greatly missed.

Dear Kim,
Your mom was a wonderful person and excellent neighbor. We will miss seeing her. She will be enjoying your dads company now. Our condolences.
