Lucy Buran Cornett

When I visited John, I always felt the Cornett home was a joyous and peaceful place. This is a testament to Lucy as well as the three fine men that she raised. May God comfort and strengthen as you remember and celebrate her life, Charlie Dees

Lucy and Dr. Fred were wonderful people. They were fun, friendly, compassionate and concerned about family, friends and their community. You can see them reflected in their sons and spouses and grandkids. I have no doubt Lucy will be greatly missed at Galloway. It was my good fortune to have known her and Dr. Fred for many, many years. My deepest sympathy to the entire family during this tough time but, I know you all have many fond memories that will sustain you in the years to come. ...

Sending my sympathy to the family. I grew up knowing Fred but didn´t get to meet Lucy until later years. Would have enjoyed having much more time with her.

Simply put Mrs. Cornett was an example for others to follow. She was everything she was supposed to be and more not only to her family but others outside her family like me. Just a childhood friend. My heart goes out to the family. I consider myself very lucky to have known her and this family. I do not have the words to express the positive impact her and the family has had on me.
