Lucy M. Denni

So sad Lucy passed, my older sister Janet trying for years to get back in touch with her via Internet. Lucy was my Dad's (Onesimo Vaz Mendes 1919-2015) niece and I'm her first cousin, hadn't seen her since 1963 when living in Lakewood, CA, her brother Onesimo Alves still living in 2021. Lucy's mother Gilmar M. Alves (1912-1940) is buried in Calvary Cemetery East Los Angeles west where my sister Janis is buried, 2016 commended making annual graveside visits to them well as to Dad's parents...

Such an incredible woman, I'm so blest to have known her. My heart is sad, yet joyful in knowing where she is.
