Lucy Dye

Just going over my address list and looked her up. Our family grew up living nearby Lucy's family, Syracuse, Oswego, wherever. I remember her mom, sister Anna and Doris especially. We'll have a great reunion someday with the Lord!

The last time I saw Aunt Lucy was when I was a child but spending summer days at Cross Lake was definitely a high point of my childhood. I regret that I didn't maintain contact as I grew up but she will always play the leading role in many of my fondest memories. I love you Aunt Lucy.

As mother-in-laws go, I couldn't have asked for any better. Lucy never judged, never criticized, and loved unconditionally. She was a fine woman and a wonderful grandma. I will always remember her posing in photos, as if in the Sears Catalog. Godspeed Mom. We'll miss you.

Lucy, you have been such a faithful Christian; you didn't just "talk the talk" you "walked the walk". Your love, compassion, generosity and prayers touched so many of us. You looked and acted more and more like an angel as you moved into the senior years. We take comfort knowing you are in the arms of our Lord. We will miss you and thank the Lord for having you as a friend. We love you. June and Jane McIntyre
