I met Lucy in 1998 when I moved to NM, and then had the chance to work with her. She was a caring physician, but more importantly was a friend to many. I will miss our interactions.

It is deeply saddening to learn of Dr. Fox's passing. It was a great privilege to know Lucy and her wonderful family while she served as a senior team leader at the New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department in Santa Fe many years ago. Lucy was respected by colleagues as the brightest light in the room. She had the unique ability to quickly analyze complex public policy issues and identify strategic solutions. Oh, Martin! This is such a shock. I am so sorry. Lucy was such a wonderful, vibrant person. We shared so many interests. I'll look for the lovely picture of the two of you when you stopped to see us in El Burgo Ranero in 2016. I didn't realize until I read here that we were both graduates of the U. of Michigan.
