JEFFERS, Lucy B. ?Of Burton, age 83, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at McLaren-Flint surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Surviving are two children, Linda (Mark) Russell and William Scott Jeffers;
three grandchildren, Lauren Ellis, Maddie Lynn and Sam Russell;
two great-grandchildren, James Ellis and Ellaina Lynn;
one brother, Stewart Ruple;
one sister, Elsie (Henry) Reilly.
My brother Dale Hatt sent this to me and
even though I did not know Lucy, I am still sorry to hear she is gone. My condolences to the family.

To the entire family, I am sorry for your loss. Many years ago, I worked with Lucy in the Admitting office of Hurley Med Center. She was always smiling, speaking lovingly of Linda and her family, and was the kindest, most gentle soul. I have never forgotten Lucy as she made Our work day more enjoyable JUST being around her.
