Not sure what to say?

Aunt Lucy was so wonderful. She always made me feel good about myself and happy. She lives in my heart forever. A true seeker.

Joining with others in celebration of Lucy's life and work. I'm sad but also feel so blessed to have known her.

Love from Washington Wahkiakum County master gardeners. Thank you for your master gardener service.

Lucy will be missed by so many people. I’d like to think she is reunited with her family now. Rest In Peace.

Lucy became a friend of my mother's a few years ago here in Portland. After spending just a small amount of time with her I came to consider her my friend as well. She was fun, funny, full of life and stories. My 9 year old daughter was also a big fan of hers. She left us too soon. Condolences to her other friends and family.

I met Lucy in a beginning calligraphy class about five years ago. She and I, along with my dear friend, Peggy Covert became fast friends and had so many adventures together. Lucy attended some family gatherings at my home over the years and everyone in my family fell in love with her. My husband and I even took care of her cat, Puna, for a few days one time. Lucy was a dear friend with an adventurous spirit and an incredible amount of courage. She was interested in everyone and everything, and her enthusiasm was infectious. I miss her.

Lucy was one of my mother’s(Lindsay Andersen) best friends and she was always such fun and so interesting to be around. Her life works are truly to be admired.

Having been Lucy's friend since our freshman year at UO, I never lost touch with her until Covid kept her out of reach. She lived a life of purpose, of art and beauty, and of social justice. I will always miss her humor, her curiosity, and her fierceness.
