Lucy passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Lucy was a resident of Carver, Massachusetts at the time of passing. Mrs. Rice was a nutritionist expert and worked as a civilian employee for the Natick Army Labs. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 10 AM. Interment will be in Agawam Cemetery, Wareham. Donations in her memory may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
Dear Sam and Tim,
Lucy and I were the best of friends at Framingham State. In fact, she was my maid of honor at my wedding in 1966. We kept in touch over the years by sending Christmas cards.
I am so saddened to hear of her passing. I have wonderful memories of those college years when we were classmates. Please know that you both are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

David andI were so sorry to hear about Lucy' death. I so enjoyed talking with her when we brought our pets in .We'll always remember the special care she and Dr. Rice gave to our pets over the years.
