Lucy Ann Smith

My life was one of the ones Lucy touched! We were in a longtime Bible Study together and then remained good friends when we all went our separate ways. She always had a warm hug, a big smile, and a word of encouragement. Her love for the Lord was apparent in all that she did. I loved this sweet lady and she will be missed greatly!

Hi, this is Cameron Dodd. I just want to say that Lucy will be greatly missed. I loved stopping by their house for popcorn and just to talk. I enjoyed shoveling snow for them and helping whenever i could. The heavens gained a beautiful angel and I know she will watch over all of us.

I so enjoyed volunteering with Lucy at the Pregnancy Center. She had such a warm heart for all the women who's lives she touched. The Beth Moore studies, suppers we had, treasured memories for certain. I really enjoyed being at her table when First B had their Christmas Women's get together. Such a blessing the time spent with her. I know she's grinning ear to ear with Jesus and Smitty now. I take comfort in that. What a woman she was! Love you my dear friend!!!!

Lucy Smith was a gift to this world. I am friends with all of her daughters, and she was an excellent mother. She offered many kindnesses to her daughter's friends. Lucy and her husband, Wendell reached out to my friend Vonnie and me, when we accompanied her daughter Janet to Europe. Lucy was so thoughtful and helpful to our mothers as we embarked upon this trip. Lucy was a Christian, who walked the walk, and she is now with her Savior, Jesus.
